The Common Core State Standards are listed in the weekly lesson plans for English 10 and English 12. The syllabus for AP Lit has been approved by the College Board which satisfies the CCSS requirements.

passive/active voice and various types of phrases (noun, verb, adjectival, adverbial, participial, prepositional, absolute) and clauses (independent, dependent; noun, relative, adverbial) to convey specific meanings and add variety and interest to writing or presentations
