In 2nd Hour English 10 class, we are fortunate to have Erdem Yoruk, a foreign exchange student from Turkey, share our classroom. Because his country is often in the news these days, he asked if he could give the class a short history lesson on his country and the reason for the fighting along his country's border. He was fair and judicious and informative and for ten minutes his classmates (and teacher) were riveted. This is exactly why strong foreign exchange student programs are so valuable in schools - everyone learns from each other! What a great day in Room 100!
